A new scoring record was set at the April 7 Southeastern Fellowship Golf Association Tournament held at Land O’ Lakes Golf Course. The team of Jimmy Hedgepeth, Lloyd Hester, Andy Hood and Gary Bass fired 27 under par 45. There was a tie for second place with two teams shooting 22 under par 50’s. These teams were: Fred Atkinson, Johnny Malpass, Charles Bridger and Willard Storms. Ronnie Tart, Jimmy Jones, Rhone Sasser and Jerry Willoughby.
The April 14 SFGA Senior Tournament will be held at Gates Four in Fayetteville. Anyone interested in joining this senior’s organization may call Linwood Hedgepeth
