The Southeastern Fellowship Golf Association played a best two net scores format tournament at Timberlake GC this week with 38 members participating. Next week’s tournament is at Land O Lakes Golf Course.

The winners this week were:

1st Place—(124) Joe Canady, Terry Strickland, Rob Conway

2nd Place—(126) Steven Lennon, Bobby Gooden, Ron Tart

3rd Place—(127) Dennie Pait, Jeff Smith, Emery White, Stacy Owen

4th Place—(128) Harry Lee, Johnny Wallace, Bobby Rabon, Rudy Pait

4th Place—(128) Marvin Eaton, Roger Walton, Breece Horton, Kenny Stanley

Thanks for the comment. Always great to read your having fun and we play Timberlake a couple more times during the remainder of this season. Weather forecasts for this coming Tuesday are treading back towards hot and humid air. Hydration is key to holding out to those last few holes and staying focused. I drank a couple of glasses of water early in the morning on the day of a round of golf. I had a sports drink and a bottle of water and a thermos with 20 ounces of water. That was evidently not enough for me. My muscles cramped when I got out of the vehicle immediately after exiting after the hour ride home. Drank more water an…
